About The Position

FedPro, Inc., a subsidiary of FPC International, Inc., is looking for a hands‑on Production Supervisor who spends their time out on the floor with the team—not sitting behind a desk. In this role, you’ll be right in the middle of daily production, helping the team stay on track with efficiency, quality, and safety while coaching and developing people, keeping the workflow moving, solving problems as they pop up, and pitching in on continuous improvement projects. Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
  • At least four (4) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Two-four (2-4) years’ supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred chemical manufacturing.
  • Demonstrates problem-solving skills necessary to troubleshoot production issues.
  • Able to work on feet for long periods of time.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50-70 lbs.
  • LEAN Six Sigma, and 5S direct exposure and involvement

Responsibilities

  • Lead and take a hands-on role in daily operations across two departments, ensuring clear assignments, priorities, and resources are in place.
  • Oversee production equipment and workflows, setting and communicating clear daily, weekly, and monthly goals to drive efficiency and meet targets.
  • Work alongside the team to coach, train, and develop associates, fostering accountability and a proactive, problem-solving culture.
  • Perform routine audits and stay actively engaged on the floor to ensure quality, safety, and process compliance, quickly addressing issues as they arise.
  • Manage material flow and inventory accuracy for blending and batching areas, stepping in to operate equipment when needed to keep production running smoothly.
  • Serve as a hands-on backup for the blender operator, operating blending equipment when required.
  • Apply Lean manufacturing principles to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Champion a safety-first environment by enforcing policies, co-leading the safety committee, and driving initiatives to minimize risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manpower, materials, and equipment while maintaining accurate records and reporting for transparency.
  • Hold associates accountable to company policies and performance standards, ensuring consistent, high-quality operations.
