About The Position

The position of Production Supervisor at Sanders Candy in Clinton Township, MI, entails the crucial task of overseeing the operations of production of our famous sea salt caramels, during first shift. Requirements

High School Education or equivalent.
2 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing setting.
Strong commitment to safety and quality.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork abilities
Strong reasoning and decision-making skills for the production floor

Nice To Haves

Food manufacturing experience
Knowledge of FDA and OSHA requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead and train manufacturing employees, ensuring safe operations, and meeting production schedules.
Optimize productivity by assigning personnel and machines effectively.
Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality policies.
Foster an inclusive and respectful team environment, promoting employee engagement.
Resolve issues and implement corrective measures when necessary.
Build strong customer and supplier relationships across all levels of the organization.
Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Q&FS (Quality & Food Safety), and OSHA Safety policies.
Maintain clean and safe work area.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
