About The Position

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to join our Production team! This role is responsible for supervising production operations within the area of control to ensure compliance with methods, quality standards, safety regulations, production standards, and efficient operations of equipment. We are looking to add strong people leaders to help us coach and develop our employees, improve existing and implement new processes, and build a great culture on the floor! You will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team of people who lead by example and genuinely care about our product quality and continuous improvement. No day will be the same, and you will have plenty of opportunities to tackle challenges working in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience working in a similar capacity, preferably in a food manufacturing environment
  • Relevant education, including Supervisory and Leadership related training
  • Experience with operational health & safety programs
  • Strong people leadership skills, including coaching and performance management
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of various computer applications including MS Office Suite
  • Solutions-oriented leader who performs well under pressure
  • Able to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders
  • Can stay organized and prioritize in a constantly evolving environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience and/or education in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma
  • APICS certification

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and training for all team members in order to develop a fully qualified, quality conscious workforce that produces world class product for the customer
  • Plan production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products, preparing shift reports and updating production KPI’s daily
  • Fulfill people management duties, including attendance management, compliance with safety regulations, performance management, conflict resolution, and related tasks
  • Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization prior to a run
  • Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and ensure employee compliance with standards
