About The Position

Pressed Juicery is hiring a Production Supervisor for its Third Shift operations. This role is crucial for overseeing daily production, ensuring targets are met while upholding quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Production Supervisor will manage staff, optimize processes, and cultivate a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include maintaining a clean and efficient work environment, supporting team development through training and mentorship, and ensuring adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety requirements. The position involves reviewing daily production schedules, assigning work, monitoring employee breaks, and overseeing production paperwork. Training new and existing employees, fostering a safety-conscious environment, and maintaining food safety standards are also vital. The role requires leading by example, identifying process improvements, and performing additional duties as assigned. The Production Supervisor must be able to work a schedule that aligns with business needs, including 10-hour overnight workdays, Tuesday through Friday, and be capable of working in cold environments, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing repetitive tasks safely.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in manufacturing or production.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising or leading teams, with strong leadership skills to motivate, mentor, and develop employees.
• Math skills and the ability to complete detailed paperwork accurately.
• Familiarity with production management systems, machinery, and tools used in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to provide clear instructions and feedback to team members.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and maintain positive working relationships with peers and management.
• Ability to handle sensitive company information with the utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Commitment to upholding food safety, quality control, and safety standards, with the ability to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks safely.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime, as needed.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or technical certification in a related field is preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing or beverage production is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety requirements as established by Pressed Juicery and regulatory agencies.
• Review daily production schedules at the start of each shift and assign work to employees, ensuring smooth handovers between shifts.
• Monitor employee adherence to break and lunch schedules to ensure compliance with labor laws and maintain production efficiency.
• Oversee the accurate and timely completion of all production-related paperwork, ensuring compliance and reviewing daily for accuracy.
• Train new and existing employees on production processes, safety procedures, and company standards, ensuring ongoing training is conducted regularly.
• Foster a culture of safety by promoting safe work practices and ensuring that the facility complies with all health and safety regulations.
• Maintain and enforce food safety standards, ensuring the facility operates in accordance with food safety protocols and sanitation is consistently upheld.
• Supervise the cleaning, sanitizing, and proper storage of equipment and tools to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
• Lead by example, providing guidance and support to production staff while promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with management to implement operational efficiencies.
• Work a schedule that aligns with business and performance needs; the schedule for this position will regularly be 10-hour workdays overnight, Tuesday through Friday.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment, lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, especially during employee absences or when managing fluctuating production demands.
• Attend all mandatory meetings.
