About The Position

Bring your talent and leadership to Raytheon's Circuit Card Manufacturing factory. We have an opportunity for a 3rd shift Production Supervisor in the Sensors High Mix value stream. This role will have overall responsibility for a growing manufacturing operations team initially consisting of 10-15 assembly, inspection, and test employees. This individual will lead a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to ensure products meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of production. You will be responsible for a safe work environment and will actively lead and engage in safety improvement projects. You will engage in daily interaction with a cross-functional and cross-shift team to meet organizational goals and objectives. In this role, you will support deployment of manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools and metrics to accurately measure progress, identify root causes of failure modes, production capacity, quality and staffing issues and develop/implement corrective action plans. This role requires daily interaction with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and the program management office. Achieving/exceeding cost, quality, delivery, safety goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using six sigma and lean methodologies are critical performance criteria for this position.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Supervisory, Leadership and/or Manufacturing experience is required.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing experience in the aerospace/defense industry.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or other similar process improvement methodologies.
  • Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access).
