Based out of our Rushville, IN location, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the assigned department(s) by assuring that productivity, quality and safety standards are maintained. Responsible for maintaining the condition of equipment and securing maintenance services.

Requirements

  • Two (2) year associate degree plus one (1) year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience including direction, engagement and coaching
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal, when dealing with all levels of the organization
  • Strong planning, organization, problem-solving, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid computer skills including MS Office Suite
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Four (4) year bachelor's degree.
  • One to three (1-3) years or more of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • ISO experience
  • Lean manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

  • Plan, supervise, and direct daily production operations utilizing strong interpersonal skills.
  • Instruct, train, orient, and coach employees to achieve safety, production and quality objectives.
  • Consistently and fairly administer and support company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and promote a culture of continuous improvement, 6S, and lean manufacturing
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships and partner with others to get things done.
  • Understand interpersonal and group dynamics and react in an effective manner.
  • Facilitate breakthroughs by integrating diverse views and finding common ground or acceptable alternatives.
  • Provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization, following through on commitments and ensuring others do the same.
