About The Position

Adler Pelzer Group is seeking a motivated and committed Production Supervisor for their manufacturing operations in Port Huron, Michigan. The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading, managing and maintaining an assigned section of the Production Floor as related to customer product lines and internal manufacturing processes. This includes organizing work assignments, checking procedures and equipment to ensure conformance to standardized work, engineering instructions, and compliance with established maintenance, IATF16949, and APPS standards. The role also involves meeting production schedules and optimizing plant resources. The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing personnel and projects within their department, understanding all functions from raw materials to finished goods, including equipment and machinery. They are also responsible for the proper use and care of equipment, requesting repair or replacement when necessary, and ensuring employees are properly trained for their work assignments. The supervisor will assist employees in solving unusual problems and troubleshoot production and maintenance issues immediately and effectively. A keen attention to detail is a must. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support team goals.
