Requirements

  • Associate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Management) preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and coaching skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration)
  • 1+ years of experience in leadership, ideally a production supervisory role, preferably within a manufacturing cleanroom environment.
  • Experience with hiring/onboarding /termination processes & Familiarity with CA labor laws
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Project management experience

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise and motivate a team of approximately 30 entry-level to experienced production operators in a cleanroom environment, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Fiercely focused on achieving and exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly production targets, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal resource utilization.
  • Instill a strong quality mindset within the team, ensuring strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Proactively identify production bottlenecks, quality deviations, and operational challenges, implementing effective solutions and driving continuous process improvements.
  • Facilitate onboarding, training, and ongoing development for production operators, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed and grow.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and address performance issues effectively.
  • Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Foster open and transparent communication within the team and across departments. Confidently articulate ideas, perspectives, and concerns, while also actively listening and valuing diverse viewpoints.
  • Oversee all production activities during a 12-hour shift, including scheduling, breaks, and addressing immediate operational needs.
