About The Position

This position is responsible for entry level skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The floor operator is responsible for visually inspecting all floor equipment and making adjustments when needed. This position is responsible for monitoring the product throughout processing phase. The operator is responsible for the proper operation of the meat side equipment, and their main responsibility is to maintain and operate the equipment to provide quality product for our customer.

Requirements

• Must have 3 months of working history with one employer listed on the application
• Must have legible handwriting
• Must be willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours
• Must be able to read invoices, packing slips, records of materials, etc.

Nice To Haves

• Computer experience preferred
• 3 months of operator experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture
• Receive training as required
• Perform various positions as required/assigned
• Visually inspect all floor equipment and make adjustments when needed
• Monitor the product throughout processing phase
• Properly operate the meat side equipment
• Maintain and operate the equipment to provide quality product for our customer
• Complete all required training for the job
• Complete Tyson paperwork
