About The Position

This position is responsible for entry level skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The floor operator is responsible for visually inspecting all floor equipment and making adjustments when needed. This position is responsible for monitoring the product throughout processing phase, and any other duties assigned by Manager. The operator's main responsibility is to maintain and operate the feather side equipment to provide quality product for our customer.

Requirements

Must have 3 months of working history with one employer listed on the application
Must be willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours
Must be willing to complete all required training for the job
Must be able to read invoices, packing slips, records of materials, etc.
Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ability to work in wet and/or humid conditions
Ability to work around moving mechanical parts
Ability to work in high, precarious places
Ability to work in outside weather conditions
Ability to work with risk of electrical shock
Ability to work with vibration
Ability to work with occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat
Ability to work in a usually loud noise level environment
Ability to walk, bend, stand and lift up to 70 pounds on a frequent basis
