Responsibilities

Direct supervision of daily operations such as staffing, quality control, and schedule adherence
Lead by example to hit targets (in order of priority) in safety, quality, service, cost, and production. When goals are missed, understand why and have suggestions for improvement
Hold team accountable to following established procedures and conforming to conduct standards
Be an enabler for team to drive process improvements. Ensure effective employee relations
Mentor Lead Operators and production team
Balance quality, safety, morale, productivity and cost to achieve positive results in all areas
Responsible for the effective training, qualification, proficiency and overall performance management of employees
Measure team performance
Conduct leader’s standard work
Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedite workflow
Drive continuous improvement
Resolve production-related issues with an eye for root cause analysis
Handle routine discipline matters
Hourly employee Timekeeping responsibilities- this is a significant function: Ceridian Dayforce is a Daily activity, or weekly at a minimum.
Perform all other duties as directed by management.
