About The Position

As the LF Production Supervisor, you’ll lead the Little Falls evening shift to keep production running safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. This role exists to coordinate people, materials, and process so customers receive consistent product on time. The LF Production Supervisor will help assemble, calibrate, operate, and monitor extruder and all auxiliary equipment (pumps, micro-motions, dry coating applicator, tanks, agitators, etc.) of one extrusion system. They will monitor and manage shrink losses to acceptable limits/standards, identify and correct problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills, and ensure tests and evaluations of products and processes are being executed by production team in coordination with Quality Assurance. This role also ensures compliance with Barrett's GMP and safety guidelines, tracks and manages inventory efficiently, and reports to the Production Manager and Site Manager to collect, evaluate, analyze, and assess operation. The supervisor will continuously look for process improvement and best practices, ensure operator PMs are completed per shift, and work with the Maintenance Department to identify and correct any issues in a timely manner. They will collaborate and communicate with all department leadership ensuring success, organize, train, direct, and oversee the production team, provide constructive and timely performance evaluations, and provide guidance to team members to address immediate staff issues. Additionally, they will complete attendance records & manage time off requests and perform sanitation as needed.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership
  • Strong knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost management
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and coaching hourly team members

  • Tracking labor and scrap to support cost control
  • Using Microsoft Office tools to report performance and communicate shift handoffs
