About The Position

LaFrance Corp is seeking an Account Services/Customer Services Representative. This is a hybrid role. The Account Services /Customer Services Representative works with the Account Teams and the Customer to provide on-time manufacture and delivery of branding products.

Requirements

  • 5 years of customer service experience
  • Associate or bachelor's Degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Excellent and proven organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple customer requests and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications; Advanced Excel experience a major plus
  • Detail-oriented individual
  • Ability to learn customer-specific ordering, forecasting, and supplier portal systems
  • Demonstrated professionalism and strong verbal communication skills when interacting with customers and internal teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting customers in a manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, or industrial environment preferred
  • Experience working within an ERP system preferred; Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Communicates proactively with customers regarding order status, shipment schedules, lead times, and delivery commitments
  • Creates, edits, and acknowledges sales orders both manually and via electronic portals; Identify special requirements and communicate them to the Production planning team
  • Monitors open sales orders and works with production Planning and Shipping teams to ensure on-time delivery
  • Creates, edits, and maintains customer and part specific master data including Customer billing and ship-to information, customer part number cross references, customer pricing
  • Communicates and coordinates with internal team members to support excellent performance for our customers
  • Investigates customer concerns and coordinates internal teams to resolve order, shipment, quality, or invoicing issues
  • Maintains accurate records of customer interactions
