About The Position

Mega Force Staffing is Now Hiring for chemical packagers with at least 1 year forklift experience in the Gastonia, NC area. This is a temporary position with 12-hour night shifts available. The role involves packaging Urethane chemical product, using a torque gun to tighten caps, labeling containers, and material handling using a dolly or pallet jack. A significant part of the job includes operating a sit-down forklift, unloading empty drums by hand, moving them to a waste area, and transporting packaged drums to the staging area. Safety is paramount, requiring the use of long sleeves, long pants, a chemical smock, steel-toe shoes, safety goggles, a hard hat, and a protective face shield while packaging.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 yr forklift experience
• Prior experience working around chemicals
• Applicants must be willing to submit to pre-employment testing and screening

Nice To Haves

• 6 months to 1 year recent forklift experience
