The role is based will be an on-site production role in our Memphis, TN facility. Where You’ll Make a Difference Lead and supervise production teams to achieve daily production targets while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards Provide shift-based leadership coverage, serving as the first point of contact for production issues and area emergencies Promote a strong safety culture by executing site safety policies, including permit systems, safety audits, housekeeping standards, and incident investigations Coordinate production activities across multiple units, balancing competing priorities and supporting troubleshooting of process and mechanical reliability issues Partner closely with technical resources (engineering, laboratory, maintenance) to resolve production challenges and support continuous improvement initiatives Drive improvement activities focused on unit processes, equipment performance, and operational efficiency Manage team performance, including staffing needs, overtime planning, performance reviews, and addressing performance or conduct concerns Ensure accurate communication up and down the organization, maintaining reliable and complete information flow Maintain accurate electronic employee records, including weekly timekeeping and attendance tracking

Requirements

  • Experience supervising or leading teams in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong knowledge of safety, food safety, housekeeping, and operational discipline standards
  • Ability to manage production schedules while responding effectively to unplanned operational, safety, or environmental events
  • Experience working with cross-functional partners such as engineering, maintenance, or quality teams
  • Proven ability to coach, develop, and mentor team members to build technical and soft skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey clear expectations and provide constructive feedback
  • Comfort working in a shift-based environment, including rotation to support 24/7 operations
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and use electronic systems for timekeeping and reporting
