About The Position

Adler Pelzer Group, a growing global Tier One supplier of Acoustic and Soft Trim products to the automotive industry, is seeking a motivated and committed Production Supervisor for the manufacturing operations in Oregon, Ohio. The 3rd shift Production Supervisor is responsible for leading, managing and maintaining an assigned section of the Production Floor as related to customer product line and internal manufacturing processes. This includes organizing work assignments, checking procedures and equipment to ensure conformance to standardized work, engineering instructions, and compliance with established maintenance, IATF16949 and APPS standards. The role involves meeting production schedules and optimizing plant resources. The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing personnel and projects within their department, possessing knowledge of all functions from raw materials to finished goods, including equipment and machinery. They are responsible for the proper use and care of equipment, requesting repair or replacement when necessary. Additionally, they ensure employees are properly trained for their work assignments, assist them in solving unusual problems, and troubleshoot production and maintenance issues immediately and effectively. Keen attention to detail is a must. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support team goals.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of all functions from raw materials to finished goods, to include equipment and machinery.
  • Keen attention to detail is a must.
  • Education can be substituted with equivalent experience.

Responsibilities
