About The Position

The Production Supervisor partners with the Operations Manager to oversee fleet operations, production and quality control for RTG, facilities, and the Safety program. The role focuses on customer satisfaction, productivity, product development, quality, and cleanliness. It also works to eliminate or control hazardous conditions through training, inspections, and corrective actions, and supports the implementation and development of technology and operational efficiencies in communication with the Operations Manager. Responsibilities include managing fleet and yard inventory, overseeing RTG production and vendors, maintaining quality control and inspection processes, conducting safety activities, and organizing and maintaining the shop and yard. The position supervises all yard staff and the Yard Supervisor.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree plus 5 or more years of experience in the mobile office or rental industry, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Manage yard trailer inventory using the barcode system and reconcile deliveries and returns.
Check and repair plastic as needed.
Manage VAP inventory and check its quality and quantity.
Conduct weekly checks of commonly used supply inventory.
Manage vendors by providing work direction, oversight, and quality checks.
Implement and sustain 5S practices.
Ensure quality control of all units and equipment.
Manage the RTG checklist, reconciliation, and accountability.
Manage inbound and outbound inspections.
Report damage rebilling to the Operations Manager.
Conduct weekly Toolbox Talks with the yard team.
Conduct periodic safety inspections, oversee corrections, and provide education when necessary.
Manage SDS updates and Right to Know policies.
Organize the shop, supplies, and tools.
Oversee shop and yard housekeeping, daily 5S and cleanup, and weekly deep cleaning.
Supervise all yard staff and the Yard Supervisor.
Implement and develop operational efficiencies and technologies in communication with the Operations Manager.
