About The Position
Are you passionate about food, nutrition, and leading a team to deliver exceptional service? Rome Health is looking for a Dietary Supervisor to oversee and inspire our dietary department, ensuring our patients, staff, and visitors enjoy healthy, safe, and delicious meals every day.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required; coursework in food and nutrition or a two-year degree in a related field is a plus.
- Experience in food service management and leadership is highly valued.
- Food safety and sanitation certification preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support our dietary staff in daily operations, including food production, cafeteria service, tray line, dishwashing, and food receiving.
- Ensure smooth workflow, quality standards, and compliance with state, local, and organizational policies.
- Actively supervise, train, and motivate dietary employees, creating a positive, collaborative team environment.
- Provide input on departmental policies and procedures to continually improve our food and nutrition services.
