About The Position

This role involves working in different departments alongside supervisors and employees to learn, understand, and positively impact production operations. The goal is to accept delegated responsibilities and duties with the aim of eventually becoming a manager. The trainee will work with other managers to plan and direct the work of the organization, evaluate work output, and use company reports to analyze efficiencies, profit, and inventory activity. They will identify trends and recommend actions to manage business situations, and work with management to develop and implement actions that protect company assets and profitability or set policies and procedures. The role includes training and developing management skills while leading and motivating others, becoming certified on forklifts and other material handling equipment, and supervising, directing, developing, and training employees within manufacturing. The trainee will interpret, apply, and/or enforce all company policies, programs, rules, regulations, and safety rules to support departmental and corporate goals for safety, quality, and production. Ensuring the production and delivery of high-quality products in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction, active involvement in employee safety, and fostering an environment conducive to achieving continuous improvement are key aspects. The role also involves attending presentations, meetings, classes, or training, and interacting with vendors, suppliers, or customers. Requirements

  • Diploma/GED required.
  • Work in different departments alongside supervisors and employees to learn, understand and positively impact production operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of food industry experience preferred.
  • Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
