A Typical DayThe Production Supervisor is responsible for relative assigned shift and/or crew, manage to company personnel/food safety, quality, production, and leadership objectives. The Production Supervisor directly supervises production employees to maximize productivity on assigned shifts and areas.

Requirements

  • High School diploma an 4 years related experience, Associates degree and 3 years related experience or Bachelor's degree and 1 years of related experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Able to demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree plus 4 years related experience.
  • Experience with production process and working closely with other departments.
  • CDFA Pasteurizer license.
  • Experience with SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with training, teaching, and educating employees on company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Monitor and control personal practices at the floor level, provides guidance, coaching and mentoring of hourly staff.
  • Monitor and control PMO, USDA, CDFA and FDA compliance through established verification processes.
  • Effectively troubleshoots process deviations related to process control or mechanical up time, works closely with maintenance on scheduled and break in work.
  • Overseas production, ensuring all employee safety, quality and environmental standards are met.
  • Prioritize safety above all other job duties by having a safety first approach at all times.
