You’ll own preventive/predictive maintenance, support ammonia/refrigeration and packaging systems, and partner with Production so lines start on time and stay on spec. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in maintenance (preferred).
  • Proven experience in maintenance supervision, preferably in a food production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and managing a maintenance team.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and respond to emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Own daily maintenance execution and prioritize work orders to protect service levels and product quality.
  • Support ammonia/refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and packaging systems in a food ‑ safe environment.
  • Coach and develop maintenance techs; create safe job plans and verify food safety compliance.
  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate improvements or upgrades as necessary.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address equipment issues and ensure minimal impact on production schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
  • Oversee inventory of spare parts and manage the maintenance budget effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
