About The Position

Joliet Staffing is hiring a Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the kitchen department of a large food distribution center in Minooka, IL. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining food safety standards, and leading a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Requirements

Experience in a food production or kitchen environment within a distribution center (DC)
Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a high-volume food operation
Strong understanding of food safety regulations (FDA, HACCP, etc.)
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proficient in basic computer systems (Microsoft Office, inventory systems)

Nice To Haves

Experience working in large-scale food distribution centers
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen production activities to meet operational goals and deadlines
Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
Monitor production processes and implement improvements for efficiency and cost control
Train, coach, and support production staff to ensure high performance and accountability
Maintain accurate production records, reports, and inventory levels
Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely distribution
Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
Address and resolve production issues in a timely and effective manner
