About The Position

The Production Supervisor position is responsible for supervision and training of shop personnel to include the manufacture and quality control of all equipment, parts orders, work orders and equipment process implementation.

Requirements

Dedication to excellence and quality.
Good general math and trigonometry
Ability to interpret manufacturing routing forms
Good hands-on mechanical ability
Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience working with metal fabrication
Hands-on working knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques
Three- Five years minimum supervisory experience

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent preferred

Promote excellence throughout the department
Responsible and accountable for shop organization, cleanliness, and quality
Maintain a clean and organized manufacturing facility
Supervise activities of manufacturing to obtain optimum productivity and accuracy
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Continuous improvement is expected in all critical activities
Job, work order and parts order scheduling
Assist in the development and implementation of fixtures and fixture kits for existing and new products
Maintain a safe workplace according to legal standards and foster a culture of attention to health and safety
Interface with other manufacturing departments, engineering, purchasing, processing, shipping and sales
Attend all scheduled meetings as required
An active member of the manufacturing problem-solving team
