About The Position

The Production Specialist supports AIG’s Lexington Cyber/Professional Liability underwriting team by selecting, monitoring, and pricing new and renewal business within Company guidelines and the authority set out in the individual Underwriter’s Authority Letter. The role markets products and services, communicates with brokers on rating, underwriting, and policy issuance matters, and may travel to assigned wholesale brokers as required. It also contributes to training support staff, interns, and production assistants, and represents the company professionally at industry functions, conventions, and corporate events.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience with a commercial insurance company, agency, or brokerage in the E&O/Cyber space.
• Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Working knowledge of U.S. Cyber/Professional Liability business, including product features, forms, regulatory environments, and risks.
• Demonstrated sales, marketing, and relationship-building experience, ideally in the wholesale marketplace.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment, adapt to changing requirements, collaborate with a wide range of colleagues, and quickly deliver solutions.
• Willingness to be flexible, learn on the job, and maintain a can-do attitude.
• Comfort with analytical tools and technology.

Responsibilities

• Select, monitor, and price new and renewal business according to Company guidelines and the Underwriter’s individual Authority Letter.
• Market products and services and travel to assigned wholesale brokers as required.
• Communicate with brokers regarding rating, underwriting, and policy issuance issues.
• Assist in training support staff, interns, and PAs within the team and department.
• Represent the company professionally at industry functions, conventions, and corporate events.
