The impact you’ll make in this role As a Production Specialist, you’ll be responsible for supporting production operations, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient plant environment. This role works the 3rd Shift (Sunday Night – Friday Morning; 11:30pm – 7:30am) and includes starting pay of $28.16/hour + $3.00 Shift Differential: Pay Increase after 6 months to $28.85/hour Pay Increase after 12 months to $29.55/hour. Manufacturing Operations: This position sits within Solventum’s Manufacturing Operations, specifically at one of our global production facilities, where our teams play a hands-on role in bringing life-changing healthcare solutions to life. Our plant teams are essential to advancing Solventum’s mission, ensuring the consistent, high-quality production of medical and dental products that healthcare providers and patients rely on every day. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start)
  • Three (3) years of manufacturing experience
  • One (1) year performing in a lead role in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

  • Leading operations and serving as a Subject Matter Expert on equipment and processes.
  • Performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electronic, robotic, and chemical systems.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement initiatives focused on Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, and Engagement.
  • Supporting production experiments, maintaining accurate process documentation, and partnering with maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards (LOTO, PPE).
  • Providing Team Leader tasks on a backup/as needed basis.
  • Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.
  • Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
