About The Position

This position is responsible for a variety of tasks that are manufacturing or distribution based and may include assembling and manufacturing sales orders, picking products from the warehouse, shipping and receiving, and cross-training for multiple roles in the warehouse. Additional training provided to expand skills.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with team members in a professional manner
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in units of measure
  • Basic mechanical skills including the use of hand tools
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to safely drive a Company truck or other mechanical equipment
  • 3 - 5 years of related warehousing or production experience
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation is a must
  • Ability to work overtime, as required
  • Ability to work nights and weekends, as required
  • Background checks and drug screening may be required (by Company, Customer or DOT requirements in working on-site and operating equipment as required or permitted by law)

  • Basic computer skills preferred, including email and internet
  • Industrial setting experience

Responsibilities

  • Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures
  • Assembles products to company, customer and manufacturer’s standards
  • Performs all product testing to quality standards as required by the customer and per company work instruction
  • Receives incoming shipments into inventory, posts in online system and places items in warehouse
  • Picks product in warehouse and prepares items for delivery or shipping
  • Delivers product as required
  • Operates mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts and picking lifts (if applicable)
  • Assists with physical inventory
  • Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements
  • Perform other related duties as trained and qualified for
