About The Position
The Production Specialist will perform wafer fabrications in the production of semiconductor devices in a clean room environment by following written specifications. The scheduled working hours for this position are 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, which includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. For this role, there is a training period that lasts approximately 3–4 months, during which you would need to work on 1st shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0 – 2 years’ experience, preferably working in a wafer fab or manufacturing environment
- Ability to work with close supervision and instruction
- Demonstrates a willingness and aptitude to learn job tasks and procedures
- Highly motivated and ability to work well with coworkers
- Ability to communicate well both written and verbal
- Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3).
Responsibilities
- Operate standard wafer fabrication (fab) equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and demonstrate working knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Accurately record and enter operational data into designated logs, forms, or digital systems
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall manufacturing operations
