About The Position

Blue Rhino, a Ferrellgas company, is seeking a Full-Time 2nd Shift Production Specialist II to join their safety-focused team. This is a hands-on, labor-intensive role that involves frequently lifting and stacking 40 lb. propane cylinders while working outdoors in varying weather conditions. The role ensures that every cylinder handled is cleaned, leak-tested, and inspected for customer safety and satisfaction. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical, team-oriented work and have experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Possess integrity and a good work ethic.
Demonstrated ability to be punctual, dependable, and reliable.
Ability to work overtime, as required.
Ability to understand basic technical instructions, both written and verbal.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Performs Washer functions which include placing cylinders on conveyer belt, sorting, removing sleeve and peeling label.
Cylinders dispatch to paint, fill, or rework stations.
Completes Paint Line operations which include loading cylinders in tank hanger, applying paint bag applicator, and unloading tank hanger.
Operates Shot Blast, Tare weight entry station, Capper (data code label), and Stacker (palletizing).
Manually checks for leaks, weight problems, or sleeve malfunctions.
Performs cylinder refurb operations based on workstation.
Stacks finished product.
Checks for quality assurance.
Some positions may require the ability to lift 35 pounds repeatedly throughout the day and in all weather conditions.
