About The Position

Blue Rhino, a Ferrellgas company, is seeking a full-time Production Specialist II for a second-shift production role. The hands-on, labor-intensive position involves handling propane cylinders in a warehouse or manufacturing environment and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Cylinders are cleaned, leak-tested, inspected, and processed to help ensure customer safety and satisfaction. The stated schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Ability to understand basic technical instructions, both written and verbal.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
Must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Some positions may require the ability to lift 35 pounds repeatedly throughout the day and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Perform washer functions, including placing cylinders on a conveyor belt, sorting them, removing sleeves, and peeling labels.
Direct cylinders to paint, fill, or rework stations.
Perform paint-line operations, including loading cylinders into tank hangers, applying paint bag applicators, and unloading tank hangers.
Operate the shot blast, tare weight entry station, capper for data-code labels, and stacker for palletizing.
Manually check cylinders for leaks, weight problems, or sleeve malfunctions.
Perform cylinder refurbishment operations based on the assigned workstation.
Stack finished product.
Check products for quality assurance.
