About The Position

Blue Rhino, a Ferrellgas company, is hiring a full-time Production Specialist II for a second-shift production team. This hands-on, labor-intensive role involves handling propane cylinders outdoors in varying weather conditions. Cylinders are cleaned, leak-tested, inspected, processed, and stacked to support customer safety and satisfaction. The schedule is listed as 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

Possess integrity and a good work ethic.

Be able to understand basic technical instructions, both written and verbal.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.

Be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Some positions may require repeatedly lifting 35 pounds throughout the day; the overview also describes frequent lifting and stacking of 40-pound propane cylinders.

Responsibilities

Perform washer functions, including placing cylinders on a conveyor belt, sorting them, removing sleeves, and peeling labels.
Dispatch cylinders to paint, fill, or rework stations.
Perform paint line operations, including loading cylinders into a tank hanger, applying paint-bag applicators, and unloading the tank hanger.
Operate the Shot Blast, tare-weight entry station, capper for data-code labels, and stacker for palletizing.
Manually check cylinders for leaks, weight problems, and sleeve malfunctions.
Perform cylinder refurbishment operations according to workstation assignment.
Stack finished products.
Check products for quality assurance.
