About The Position

Marvin Windows is seeking a Production Shift Manager to lead and develop production teams at its Kansas City, Kansas location. The role is responsible for achieving operational goals in safety, quality, productivity, and delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a hands-on leader, the manager coaches, mentors, and develops production leaders while fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement. The position works Monday through Thursday on the day shift, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Requirements

At least 5 years of manufacturing management experience.
Strong leadership competencies, including relationship building, alignment, development of others, strategic thinking, and a results-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience with lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

Lead and support production operations, ensuring employees and supervisors have the resources, guidance, and accountability needed to achieve operational goals.
Manage supervisor performance through regular feedback, development planning, and alignment with departmental objectives and business priorities.
Optimize workflow, workforce utilization, and scheduling to meet customer demand while controlling costs.
Promote engagement, continuous improvement, and operational excellence through communication, problem-solving, and talent development.
Monitor key metrics and implement sustainable improvements to workplace safety, product quality, and operational performance.
