About The Position

Marvin Windows is seeking a Shift Production Manager to lead and develop production teams at its Kansas City, Kansas location. The role is responsible for achieving operational goals in safety, quality, productivity, and delivery. As a hands-on leader, the manager coaches, mentors, and develops production leaders while fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The annual compensation range is $76,000 to $90,000.

Requirements

At least 5 years of manufacturing management experience.
Strong leadership competencies, including relationship building, alignment, developing others, strategic thinking, and a results-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience with lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

Lead and support production operations, ensuring employees and supervisors have the resources, guidance, and accountability needed to achieve operational goals.
Manage supervisor performance through regular feedback, development planning, and alignment with departmental objectives and business priorities.
Optimize workflow, workforce utilization, and scheduling to meet customer demand while controlling costs.
Foster engagement, continuous improvement, and operational excellence through communication, problem-solving, and talent development.
Champion workplace safety, product quality, and operational performance by monitoring metrics, identifying opportunities, and implementing sustainable improvements.
