About The Position

Cascade Maverik, a leading global sports brand, is seeking a Production Scheduling Associate to join their championship team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of production, maintaining on-time shipping, and managing stock levels. The associate will work closely with production supervisors, the supply team, and customer service to coordinate daily workloads, prioritize orders, and monitor production schedules. This position also involves assisting with inventory cycle counting and participating in continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and both written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable operating motorized industrial vehicles.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Must be comfortable learning new software programs.
  • Effective problem solver who is able to analyze problems, generate options, and choose a course of action.
  • Must be a good problem solver and decision maker.
  • Must understand how the Company makes its product.
  • Must be able to work overtime as necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP system preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules production processes and resources to minimize company costs.
  • Receives, reviews, and prioritizes orders to determine optimal utilization of facility resources, machines, materials, and people for on-time delivery.
  • Monitors the production schedule to understand and communicate variances, providing assessments to mitigate them.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of assembly processes, machines, equipment, materials, technologies, and business operations.
  • Performs weekly cycle counting with guidance from the Supply Team.
  • Works with the Supply Chain team for tracking and investigating out-of-stock inventory.
  • Coordinates effectively with supply chain, customer service, and operations to ensure a viable schedule, escalating sensitive and urgent matters as needed.
  • Works closely with manufacturing to schedule production activities and resources.
  • Optimizes downtime by participating in cross-training and seeking tasks outside of regular responsibilities to support other production areas.
  • Participates in continuous improvement, safety, health & wellness initiatives and programs.
  • Performs administrative and data entry responsibilities as required.
