About The Position

This is a fulltime day shift position primarily Monday through Friday. Must be flexible to work on weekends when needed. The Production Scheduler will be selected based on Testing, Qualifications based on Minimum Requirements, and a Targeted Selection Interview Process. Successful partners must follow and maintain Preventative Control Plans, Critical Control Points, and Safety Procedures. Successful Partners must follow and sustain process improvements, Food Safety, Partner Safety, and Food Quality. Must maintain absenteeism below 65 attendance points.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum two (2) years of related experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, or supply chain support.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing operations and production flow.
  • Experience using scheduling systems, spreadsheets, or ERP/MRP tools.
  • Must be available for weekends when needed and flexible on hours worked, rotating scheduling and working on weekends as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage records, reports, and production data accurately.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate with operations, supply chain, and logistics partners.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and resilience to operate effectively in a shift-based manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in work.
  • Ability to solve problems by adapting knowledge and experience.
  • Dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; acts with customers in mind.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred, including experience working as a Utility Operator, Auto Palletizer, Blender Operator, Filler Operator, Processor, and/or Packaging Operator with working knowledge of production processes, shift-based operations, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules for assigned product lines based on forecasts, inventory levels, capacity, and material availability.
  • Monitor production progress and update schedules to address changes such as equipment downtime, labor availability, material constraints, or customer order changes.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, warehousing, and logistics partners to align schedules with material receipts and shipping requirements.
  • Communicate schedule changes, priorities, and constraints clearly to plant partners and leadership.
  • Attend demand, capacity, and category calls.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling data within plant scheduling tools and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/Material Requirement Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Track and summarize schedule adherence, production output, and inventory impacts to support plant reviews.
  • Confirm inventory on hand (including raw material and packaging inventory) is sufficient to meet production demands.
  • Identify recurring scheduling challenges and support improvement efforts related to sequencing, changeovers, and flow efficiency.
  • Aid finance, sales, and supply chain with cost quotes.
  • Follow plant safety, food safety, and quality requirements while performing scheduling activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning processes, tools, and standard work.
  • Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • This position requires the ability to work with dairy and nut products in addition to other related ingredients and allergens.
  • Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
  • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
  • Support safety policies and programs.
