About The Position

The Production Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing detailed production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and on-time delivery of products. This role translates demand and master production plans into executable schedules, balancing capacity, material availability, and operational constraints to support stable and reliable production execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in production scheduling, production planning, or supply chain planning roles.
  • Solid understanding of production scheduling, capacity planning, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and planning tools (e.g., SAP, APS systems).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data and KPIs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) or similar is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
  • Experience supporting MPS or S&OP processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed daily, weekly, and short-term production schedules based on demand plans, MPS, and capacity constraints.
  • Release, sequence, and prioritize production orders in coordination with manufacturing, materials, and logistics teams.
  • Monitor production progress and schedule adherence, identifying deviations and taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate with Materials Management to ensure material availability aligned with production schedules.
  • Adjust schedules in response to changes in demand, capacity, material shortages, or operational issues.
  • Communicate production schedules, changes, and priorities clearly to manufacturing and support teams.
  • Track and analyze production scheduling KPIs such as schedule adherence, lead time, and WIP levels.
  • Maintain accurate planning and execution data in ERP and scheduling systems.
  • Participate in planning meetings and daily/weekly production reviews.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve scheduling accuracy, production stability, and planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with planning standards, procedures, and data integrity requirements.
