We are seeking a Production Scheduler to join our team at our York, PA location. You will be responsible for production planning, scheduling, and production control of a product line.

Requirements

  • University degree and 1 year suggested minimum experience, or 2 year degree and 6 years suggested minimum experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in an organized fashion and make confident decisions
  • Team player who interacts well with a diverse workforce
  • Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) as well as Internet software and email

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement capacity requirements planning models for daily management of product line production operations.
  • Develop and issue weekly product line master production schedules for subassembly and final assembly operations to achieve schedule and customer order on-time delivery objectives.
  • Integrate product line subassembly requirements within the master production schedule and daily run schedules for each subassembly department.
  • Serve as product line team leader and facilitator interacting with production supervision and production staff to achieve schedule objectives.
  • Hold product line production status meetings, as required.
  • Develop and issue manufacturing orders in accordance with master production schedules for subassembly and final assembly operations.
  • Identify and resolve issues impacting production planning and schedule attainment objectives.
  • Ensure ERP system transactions are completed daily on a perpetual basis for production control and inventory control.
  • Maintain KPI metrics reports for planned vs. actual schedule attainment, schedule adherence, downtime, on-time shipment, and headcount for the product line.
  • Report work-related injuries and near misses to supervision.
  • Wear all required PPE and follow applicable safety/environmental rules.
  • Correct or report unsafe conditions observed within the plant.
  • Perform additional duties, as assigned.
