About The Position

Plan Production. Solve Problems. Make an Impact. Every bag of Weaver popcorn starts with a plan. As a Production Scheduler, you'll play a critical role in making sure the right products are produced at the right time. Working closely with Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Distribution, you'll balance customer demand, inventory, raw materials, and production capacity to keep our manufacturing operations running efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving puzzles, thinking ahead, analyzing data, and coordinating multiple priorities to keep production moving. Requirements

  • Experience in production scheduling, production planning, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems (AS400 experience is a plus).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships across departments.
  • Required: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving scheduling issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Experience in production planning or manufacturing scheduling
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and scheduling best practices
  • Familiarity with ERP systems or other production planning software

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules that balance customer demand, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity.
  • Partner with Operations, Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service, and Distribution to align production plans with business priorities.
  • Identify scheduling conflicts and proactively adjust plans to minimize production disruptions and support on-time customer delivery.
  • Analyze production performance, inventory trends, and demand forecasts to support informed business decisions.
  • Communicate production schedules, changes, risks, and priorities to key stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve scheduling processes and manufacturing efficiency.
