About The Position

This role is for a Production Sanitation Utility worker on the 4th shift, working from 10pm to 6am, Sunday through Thursday, with potential for additional hours on Friday based on business needs. The ideal candidate is a punctual, self-starting individual who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. They should be willing to take direction, possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a demonstrated ability to learn new skills. This position involves working with automated equipment and may require the use of cleaning chemicals to sanitize and clean equipment and production areas. The role is in a refrigerated food production facility, requiring the ability to work in a cold environment, and the work environment can be loud due to machinery and moving parts. During sanitation, exposure to wet, humid, and damp conditions is possible.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to learn and carry out lock out tag out procedures as required.
• Lifting 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform data entry for inventory systems and labeling software.
• Willingness to complete fork lift certification upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work safely as part of a team to produce quality Sargento products.
• Read and understand production orders to verify information is correct.
• Communicate effectively and accurately.
• Ensure food safety and quality standards are met by being mindful of the food production process.
• Be dependable and take pride in working with a team.
• Assist with the setup and placement of production equipment.
• Work alongside state-of-the-art automated equipment.
• Use cleaning chemicals to sanitize and clean equipment and production areas as necessary.
