About The Position

Live Nation Entertainment is the world’s leading live entertainment company. The US Concerts division is seeking a Production Runner, responsible for various ‘errands’ and tasks associated with the talent and production of shows. Confidentiality is very critical to this role. The runner assists in fulfilling the needs of the production department and most commonly includes running errands under the direction of the venue or tour production manager.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Possess an operational cell phone.
  • Possess reliable transportation.
  • Thorough knowledge of the local area, including area businesses & locations.
  • Safe driving habits extremely important.
  • Friendly and personable, works well with others.
  • Available for long shifts, including nights and weekends (typical show day runs about 16-18 hours).

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years work experience interacting with people in a positive environment.
  • Experience in a live music environment or comparable role.

Responsibilities

  • Display a professional and personable attitude with touring and venue personnel.
  • Responsible for various ‘errands’ associated with the talent and production of the show.
  • Confidentiality is very critical to this role.
  • Deliver and retrieve items from local stores, vendors, airports, hotels, laundry.
  • Provide local area information to touring personnel.
  • Maintain cash and receipts throughout the day.
  • Assist with miscellaneous production projects as directed.
  • Provide transportation for personnel throughout the show day (maybe personal vehicle or large rental van/cargo van).
  • Assist production staff with production-related duties backstage throughout the show day.
  • Ensure stage and backstage areas are clean and free of clutter.
