Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand work orders and safety instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

  • Perform masking methods based on customer product specifications.
  • Prepare raw material for masking to include, but not limited to hand wiping and blowing out holes.
  • Reference blue prints to accurately assess masking requirements specified on print.
  • Monitor inventory levels and request to purchase supplies and materials to meet production requirements in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the inspection of product and notify the Team Leader/Supervisor of any non-conformances.
  • Record masking details on the job ticket and any necessary information on the work order as required.
  • Package parts to safely transport to production areas.
  • Accurately complete the necessary forms and adhere to scheduling due dates.
  • Work safely at all times and comply with all safety regulations while working with Hazardous materials and chemicals.
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner.
  • Work with a positive attitude and report all questions or problems to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
  • Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed.
  • Rack, un-rack, and package customer parts according to work orders.
  • Safely handle customer products and tooling to prevent damage.
  • Perform visual inspections of parts before processing.
  • Record production information accurately.
  • Monitor equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Follow all safety procedures while working around industrial equipment and chemicals.
  • Remove finished parts from production racks safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect parts during unracking for visible defects or damage.
  • Sort and organize unracked parts for packaging or next process step.
  • Package parts according to work instructions, customer specifications, and safety guidelines.
  • Apply labels, tags, or other identification as required.
  • Operate packaging tools and equipment as needed.
