About The Position
Ocean Spray is hiring Entry-Level Production Resources Technicians for day and night shifts at their Wisconsin Rapids Production Plant. This is a full-time, year-round position on a 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule, meaning employees get every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. The role involves working indoors in a fast-paced manufacturing environment making Sweetened Dried Cranberries (Craisins) with a team that values growth and stability. The company is a farmer-owned cooperative that champions cranberries and supports the farmers who grow them. Ocean Spray has been recognized as one of the U.S. Best Managed Private Companies.
Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide.
- Ability to perform operations using units, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to adhere to all Plant Safety, GMP’s and Operating guidelines and rules.
- Ability to perform responsibilities for a 12-hour shift and assist on other shifts as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining, cleaning, and sanitation of the facility and equipment (hosing floors, sweeping spills, etc.).
- Screening final product to ensure there is no foreign material.
- Creating appropriate documentation.
- Operation of extraction, infusion, filtering, and packaging equipment.
- Performing quality tests.
