Requirements
- Must have completed training on positions for Production Helper, Mixer operator, Mixer Helper, Bag Dump Operator and Oven Operator.
- Must be flexible and adaptable.
- Must be capable of contributing to all phases of the production process.
Responsibilities
- Operate automated production equipment.
- Perform primary diagnosis of machinery failures.
- Aid with preventative maintenance.
- Sanitize equipment.
- Make production decisions concerning the preflight and operation of equipment.
- Rotate job assignments throughout production.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe work environment.
- Demonstrate competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect effect on product safety, food safety and/or quality.
- Report equipment malfunctions to foreman, supervisor and maintenance personnel.
- Maintain a high level of sanitation and GMP's by ensuring that work areas are clean and that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) are fully complied with by sweeping and wiping down equipment.
- Perform other duties in different areas of the production as necessary.
- Assist in training of new employees or employees who change job classifications.
- Responsible for the Quality and Food Safety functions within designated department and as assigned by management and the Quality Department.
- Promote safety in the work area by understanding and complying with safety procedures and reporting all accidents in a timely manner regardless of the severity.
- Promote company values through actions.
- Report to work physical and mentally ready to do the job in a substance free environment.
- Stage materials using RFGen/SAP.
