About The Position

Molding Products is looking for a Production Quality Lab Technician. This role is on 2nd shift, 2:00pm - 10:30pm with a $2.00/hr shift premium. The QC Lab Technician is responsible for performing laboratory testing and quality control activities to ensure raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods meet established specifications. This role works closely with Production and Quality teams to verify product quality, support troubleshooting, and maintain compliance with standards. The position plays a critical role in ensuring product consistency, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Associate or bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field preferred
0–3 years of experience in a laboratory or quality control role preferred
Experience in chemical or manufacturing environments is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow standardized testing procedures
Basic data analysis and documentation skills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Good communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safety and quality standards

Responsibilities

Perform laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
Follow standard test methods and procedures to ensure accurate results
Record and analyze test data and report findings
Verify that products meet quality specifications and standards
Support troubleshooting and investigation of quality issues
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration
Document results and maintain accurate lab records
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
Communicate results and issues to Production and Quality teams
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
