About The Position

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead a team of production associates to achieve daily safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals at the Oakdale, California manufacturing facility. You will coordinate people, materials, and equipment to maintain production schedules while identifying and resolving process inefficiencies. You will foster a safe, engaged, and team‑oriented work environment that supports continuous improvement and strong business results. A Taste of Your Responsibilities Lead production activities to ensure quality, productivity, and cost standards are consistently met Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost reduction, and customer service Identify production issues, constraints, or bottlenecks and take corrective action to minimize downtime and waste Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to maintain efficient production schedules Train, coach, and develop team members to ensure effective job performance and engagement Enforce plant policies, procedures, and work rules in a fair and consistent manner Evaluate employee performance, provide ongoing feedback, and support performance improvement efforts Support sanitation activities as needed to maintain a clean and food‑safe work environment Promote and support plant and company safety programs, including adherence to lockout and tagout procedures, personal protective equipment requirements, and confined space entry protocols Partner with cross‑functional teams to support operational and business objectives Ingredients Required for Your Success High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Food Science, Agricultural Sciences, or other Natural Science degrees preferred. Other degrees will be considered. 3 + years of supervisory or team leadership experience Understanding of food manufacturing processes, production losses, equipment, and plant safety. Understanding of Food Aseptic and Food Safety processes preferred Understanding of Fluid Flow including Fluid Flow in pressure and/or vacuum conditions preferred General knowledge of SCADA and PLC functions preferred Flexibility to work weekends, rotating shifts, or alternative schedules as required, with increased workload during seasonal times #LI-Onsite #LI-Associate #LI-BC1 Compensation Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000 The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity.
