About The Position

Monitors dairy plant production processes such as milk receiving, separation, standardization, and batching by following Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Ensures all paperwork is accurate, verifies charts, and troubleshoots operating difficulties. Follows safety practices, including confined space safety, wearing required personal protection equipment, and ensuring safe chemical handling. Maintains sanitation of equipment through CIP and hand cleaning. Supports Continuous Improvement by maintaining process and equipment performance data to improve quality and throughput. Operates and cleans equipment to maximize throughput and minimize downtime, communicating mechanical and operational issues. Operates equipment at recommended speeds and monitors fats, total solids, allergens, and cryoscopies to ensure quality and efficiencies. Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners. Identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress, and recommending improvements. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Responsibilities

  • Monitors dairy plant production processes (e.g., milk receiving, separation, standardization, batching) following Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Ensures accurate paperwork and verifies charts, including frequency, pen cut-in/cut-out, temperatures, and product recording temperatures.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves basic to moderate operating difficulties, communicating any problems or concerns that may restrict production efficiency or food safety to management.
  • Follows required safety practices, including observing confined space safety guidelines, wearing all required personal protection equipment, ensuring safe chemical handling, and monitoring fall restraints.
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment through CIP and hand cleaning, and reports safety concerns or issues to leadership.
  • Supports Continuous Improvement by maintaining process data and equipment performance data to improve quality and throughput.
  • Operates and cleans equipment to maximize throughput and minimize downtime, communicating mechanical and operational issues.
  • Operates equipment at recommended speeds and monitors fats, total solids, allergens, and cryoscopies as they associate with processing dairy products to ensure quality and efficiencies.
