About The Position

The Production Plant Manager is a mission critical role that requires a proactive, hands-on approach to assist in shaping the culture of Trulieve. He/she will be responsible for all Processing staff, including schedules, training, policy, and procedure updated, industry news, and product information. The Production Plant Manager is responsible for managing all departments of Midway operations. Oversees and manages personnel to perform all the tasks necessary to complete the production cycle. The Production Plant Manager helps to oversee and maintain quality control measures to ensure high quality product and carries out day-to-day tasks including monitoring all departments listed above and their daily activities.

Requirements

  • Understanding of proper and safe handling and disposal of harmful chemicals, substances, and hazardous wastes.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and processes to ensure products meet or exceed expectations.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Ability to oversee multiple manufacturing processes, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Capabilities with computer systems, software, and hardware common to laboratories, recordkeeping procedures.
  • A thorough understanding of state and local medical marijuana laws and how they apply to the operations.
  • Strong consultative and partnership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Managing manufacturing operations, ensuring that products are produced efficiently, on time, and within budget.
  • Monitoring production plans and schedules and adjusting as necessary to meet patient demand.
  • Implementing and monitoring the key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing.
  • Using KPIs to assess efficiency and make informed decisions about production and inventory management.
  • Developing and implementing manufacturing strategies that align with the company and leaderships overall goals.
  • Identifying bottlenecks in production processes and driving initiatives for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policy by conducting regular audits and implementing safety protocols to protect employees and maintain operational integrity.
  • Ensuring that products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implementing quality control processes as needed and collaborating with the quality team to maintain high product standards.
  • Working closely with the support departments to ensure CGMP standards are being upheld, by promoting a culture of high standards and continuous improvement.
  • Organizing and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives, empowering team members to identify opportunities and provide solutions and improvements in the manufacturing space.
  • Working closely with procurement, logistics, and other supporting departments to ensure seamless operations and availability of materials.
  • Partnering with all relevant support departments to create, support, and maintain an engaged and team-oriented workforce, emphasizing personal and professional growth.
  • Leading by example and making frequent visits to the production floor to support and empower the production staff, focusing on leadership.
  • Engaging on additional responsibilities as directed by manufacturing leadership, with a focus on serving the team and enhancing overall operational effectiveness and strategically supporting business needs.
  • Ensuring that the production plans, schedules, and labor requirements are properly met and monitored.
  • Ensuring equitable treatment of all employees within a business context.
