About The Position

Production Planning B supports manufacturing operations through material coordination and status tracking activities that help ensure the timely flow of materials and manufacturing orders through the production process. Responsibilities include reviewing daily production plans, maintaining accurate transactions, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support schedule execution and operational objectives. This is a developing support role that applies established procedures and standard practices to complete routine assignments under general supervision. The individual is expected to build job knowledge and planning skills while supporting team goals and maintaining accurate data. The role works with internal stakeholders including manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, quality, and program teams to gather information, communicate status, and help resolve routine material-related issues. Success in this role requires attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment.

Requirements

• Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills.
• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret Bills of Material and production-related requirements.
• Ability to use business systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools to maintain accurate data and status

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other standard business tools.
• Experience with ERP or planning systems such as Costpoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with planning, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, quality, and program teams to support production needs.
• Monitor manufacturing order status, production schedules, and material on the manufacturing floor to support on-time execution.
• Update planning systems, spreadsheets, and reports to ensure timely and accurate information is available to the organization.
• Support continuous adherence to established processes, quality requirements, and organizational procedures
