Production Planning Supervisor

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred
- 4+ years of production planning or manufacturing experience
- 1–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience in food & beverage manufacturing strongly preferred
- ERP/MRP system experience (Fishbowl a plus)
- Strong analytical, Excel, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities
- Build and manage daily, weekly, and long-range production schedules
- Align plans with demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory targets
- Continuously optimize capacity, labor, and equipment utilization
- Adjust plans in real-time to respond to operational constraints
- Lead, coach, and develop production planning team members
- Set clear performance expectations and accountability standards
- Foster a high-performance, continuous improvement culture
- Partner with procurement to ensure material readiness
- Balance inventory investment with service level expectations
- Drive inventory accuracy and cycle count integrity
- Act as the central hub between production, QA, maintenance, and logistics
- Communicate priorities, risks, and changes clearly and proactively
- Support new product launches and operational transitions
- Analyze demand trends, production data, and performance metrics
- Leverage ERP/MRP systems (Fishbowl preferred) to improve accuracy
- Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions
- Ensure planning aligns with SQF, GMP, and HACCP standards
- Support audit readiness and documentation integrity
