The Production Planning Manager leads planning processes that balance demand, supply, and capacity while aligning execution to business objectives for multiple sites. This role provides visibility to risks, constraints, and trade-offs across service, cost, and inventory, ensuring alignment between strategy and execution across multiple sites. This position reports to the Senior Director, Reagents Supply Chain Planning and is part of the Supply Chain Planning Organization, located in Hialeah and will be an on-site role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience OR Master's degree with 7+ years of experience in production or supply chain planning
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated experience with supply chain planning in multi-site & matrixed environments
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor associates and teams of various levels
  • Proficiency in Oracle ERP / planning systems
  • Experience in scenario modeling & analytics
  • Financial acumen

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in planning standardization or transformation initiatives in diagnostics, Life sciences or regulated environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate S&OE processes and provide inputs into S&OP planning cycles
  • Drive work cell master production and finite schedules to ensure near-term execution
  • Optimize production resource allocation to maximize schedule adherence
  • Support Capacity Planning, identify capacity constraints and drive gap closure actions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align plans with business objectives
  • Communicate risks and opportunities to stakeholders
  • Drive process standardization across multiple sites
