About The Position

The Manufacturing Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing operations while meeting customer requirements, regulatory standards, and business objectives. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to balance production priorities, maximize resource utilization, and maintain schedule accuracy in a GMP/cGMP manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in production planning, supply chain planning, operations, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience working with ERP systems and advanced planning processes.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, production scheduling, material planning, and supply chain operations.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external manufacturing partners.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, validate, and communicate production and shipment plans that align with business objectives and customer demand.
  • Balance inventory levels, production capacity, and customer delivery requirements to optimize supply chain performance.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, R&D, Logistics, Customer Service, and external business partners to support planning activities.
  • Utilize enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to manage inventory, scheduling, supplier coordination, workflow management, and planning processes.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contract manufacturers (CMs), and original design manufacturers (ODMs).
  • Lead or support new product introductions (NPI), product transfers, and supply chain setup activities.
  • Ensure appropriate material availability, labor resources, and test capacity are in place to support production requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to improve inventory performance and supply continuity.
  • Support global or multi-site inventory management activities as required.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to develop factory support processes for indirect sales channels and worldwide customer escalations.
  • Identify supply chain risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead and contribute to complex projects and strategic initiatives that impact business performance.
